Aranmanai 4 Movie Review: This movie was released in theatres about a month ago in Tamil and Telugu only. It proved to be a superhit in Tamil, after which this week, it was released in Hindi as well. I have seen only the Hindi dubbed version of the movie.
So, if we talk about this movie, then this movie is a part of a franchise, but none of these movies have any connection with its previous movie. I have yet to see both the previous movies completely to date. If I talk about this movie, then after watching this movie, I would like to say that yes, the idea of the movie Aran Man 4 had the potential it could have become a good thriller or at least an easily watchable thriller movie, but this movie gets overshadowed somewhere.
What is the Aranmanai 4 effect?
If I talk about it, then those who know about it will know that if we leave out the first part of the Armanai series and then the second and third parts, which are continuing, one thing that we get to see more of in all these things is loud comedy and the top performances, things going far away from logic, very strange VFX, all these things that we have always seen in this franchise.
After watching the fourth instalment, it feels as if the director has made all these things an important part of this franchise. At one point, these things worked in theatres, after which a target audience was created for them, and even today, the director is completely loyal to that target audience.
In the same way, they are serving things even today, and personally, this thing is not wrong at all. Anyone can do anything to run his business or career. Still, it will be wrong if you are going to watch this film in the theatre and you have to be told whether you are the target audience of this film or not because I am at least not the target audience of this film, whatever its target audience is.
Aranmanai 4 Movie Review in Hindi
Surprisingly, this time, there was something in this film that at least made it watchable, even if in bits and pieces. Otherwise, the comedy in the film was irritating, but there were some places where things had to be handled seriously.
Also, the attempt to spoil the film as much as possible by adding this type of comedy is very disturbing. Otherwise, the concept of Baag seen in the film was very good. If a film was made by keeping it in mind and sincerely keeping its target audience, then it could have definitely become a good film.
Despite so many irritating things in the film, the film creates interest in bits and pieces. The interval block was surprisingly quite thrilling. Along with this, some good twists and turns are also seen in the second half. Above all, I would like to say that the way the visual presentation is used to destroy the devil in the climax is amazing.
It was quite good. If that thing had been handled properly and some modifications had been made in the dubbing, keeping the Hindi audience in mind, then this thing could have worked very well in the North, but the problem is that the song that we get to hear there is a devotional song.
Its lyrics or the translation dubbing of it is not perfect, due to which the impact is not that solid, but still the final shot definitely gives a goose bomb somewhere. Apart from this, there was a lot of scope for emotions in the film, but because the director Sahab’s full attention was on his target and audience, this is towards over-the-top loud comedy.
Because of this, no emotions were developed properly, and the result is that neither the comedy in the film worked for me, nor could any emotion connect here let alone emotions; I would like to tell you that when the film was released.
