Gas tanker explosion in Bhankrota
A major accident has occurred due to the explosion of a CNG gas tanker on(Jaipur news) Ajmer Road in Bhankrota, Jaipur, Rajasthan. The incident took place on Friday, 20 December 2024 at around 6 am, when a truck collided with the LPG tanker, causing a massive explosion.
Casualties and Injured
At least 6 people have died in this accident, and many others have been seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to local hospitals, where they are undergoing treatment.
Damage and Impact
More than 40 vehicles caught fire due to the blast, and nearby factories and houses were also damaged. After the incident, vehicular movement on the Ajmer Highway has been stopped, and there is a traffic jam of up to 1 kilometer.
