SBI Debit Card Charges Increase

State Bank of India (SBI), one of India’s largest banks, has vowed to increase debit card charges from April 1, 2024. Please read this article completely once so that you can also know.

SBI Debit Card Charges Increase

Classic Debit Card

Current Fee: Rs. 125/- + GST
Revised Fee: Rs. Rupee. 200/- + GST

Classic Debit Card

Current Fee: Rs. 175/- + GST
Revised Fee: Rs. 250/- + GST

Platinum Debit Card

It has been increased from Rs 250 + GST to Rs 325 + GST.

Premium Business Debit Card

Current Fee: Rs. Rs.350/- + GST
Revised Fee: Rs. 425/- + GST

Other debit card charges: Debit card issue charges, replacement charges and many other charges

Now, apart from the annual fee, SBI also charges other charges on its debit cards:

Debit Card Issuance Charges:

Classic/Silver/Global/Contactless Debit Card: NIL

Gold Debit Card: Rs. Rs.100/- + GST

Platinum Debit Card: Rs. Rs 300/plus GST

Debit Card Replacement Fee: 

Rs. 300/- plus GST

Regeneration of Duplicate PIN/PIN:

 Rs. 50/- and GST

International Transaction Fee:

Balance inquiry at ATM: Rs. Rs 25/- and GST at Rs 7.
On ATM cash withdrawal transactions: Rs. 100/- min. + 3.5% of transaction amount + GST

Point of sale/e-commerce transactions: 

3% of transaction amount + GST
