Karthik Aryan has posted the poster of his upcoming new film on his Instagram account, which has blown everyone away; he has written in the caption that Champion Aa Raha Hai. We are talking about Chandu Champion.
If we talk now, there is a complete drought going on inside Bollywood. In fact, any movie, even if it is from the South, could be doing better. What is expected from Chandu Champion is that this may be a movie which will bring a break through. There are two reasons for this: one is the way in which Kabir Khan directs; he brings a variety of intensity in some places, and the second is the way in which the promotion is going to be done, which is a big production house in Natiya.
Thirdly, I would say that Kartik Aryan has such a huge fan following that he can get involved in the issue on the first day of the first show. Now, let us talk about the meaning of this poster, Chandu Champion Chandu; it has become a lot. Also, the common name is unusual, i.e., a boy next to fear below if you can understand something from which you have no expectations.
This means that there is a story about an underdog who will become the champion, and its name gives many hints that blood and sweat will have to be shed, as you see in Chandu’s H.
It must have involved a lot of cardio and weight lifting, but it must have also involved a very strict diet, which is why such leanness has developed inside the body.
Who is Chandu’s champion?
Karthik Aryan’s film Chandu Champion is a film based on the real story. Do you know the real Chandu Champion i.e. Murlikant Petkar? Murlikant was India’s first paralytic gold medal winner. Sushant Singh Rajput was going to do this film. This Murlikant survived nine bullet injuries by sitting. Do you know that in those days, Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan was shooting a biopic film based on the biography of a war hero and India’s first Paralympic gold medal winner?
Here is one of the much-awaited films produced by Kabir Khan, inspired by the life of a war veteran who survived nine bullet injuries. Makan Patkar was born on 1 November 1977 in Peth Islampur, Sangli district of Maharashtra. Petkar has been very interested in sports since childhood. Later, he was admitted to the boy’s battalion of the Indian Army in Pune, where he used to perform well in sports.
At that time, he had become a talented boxer. In the year 1964, he won a medal in the International Service Sports Competition in Tokyo, Japan, as a result of which he was sent to Jammu and Kashmir. However, his life turned upside down when India gained independence in 1965. During the war, he was posted in the Silai Kot sector of Kashmir. During the Indo-Pak war, his battalion was attacked by air, and nine bullets hit him, due to which he became disabled for life.
Then Murlikant Patkar was first taken to a hospital in Jammu and Kashmir. He was later taken to the Naval Hospital in Mumbai. There, he remained bedridden for 2 years, and for some time, he also lost his memory. During the treatment, he underwent physiotherapy. The doctor who was treating him inspired Petkar to take up a sport, and thus, sport became his pursuit. The Summer Paralympic Games in 1972 changed his life once again.
Because there he became the first Indian to win a gold medal in the Paralympic Games. He won four medals in swimming and later got employed in a telco in Pune, where he worked for 30 years. In 2018, Murlikant Petkar was honoured with the Ramnath Govind Award for his selflessness towards the nation. He was awarded the post of Shri, India’s fourth-highest civilian award for service. Let us tell you that Sushant Singh Rajput was keen to play the role of Petkar after playing the role of Dhoni.
However, Sushant Singh Rajput passed away in the year 2020 and now Kartik Aryan will be seen playing the role of Murlikant Patkar in the film Chandu Champion in place of Sushant. Chandu Champion, written by Sumit Arora Kabir Khan and Rohit Shukra, will also reportedly star Katrina Kaif and Shraddha Kapoor. But the Chandu Champion film will be released in cinema halls in June 2024. Subscribe to Moo Masala now to get such new updates.
